Sudan grass from originally tropical and subtropical regions of Eastern Africa as an annual plant. It has recently been grown through Imperial Valley, CA to north CA. Also, it cultivated for export many of them. It is very popular on West Japan because of high fiber.
Feature
It is easy to grow in hot and dry area so cut and harvested 3 to 4 times a year. One of popular gramineous grass hay and useful for both dairy cow and meat producing animals.
